A box of 40-minutes blank tapes basically was the starting point for this collaboration.
We decided to each produce 20 minutes of new ambient-ish music and release a split ep if it all works out.
Now it did. And with the beautiful cover art by Kevin Ukena we handcrafted the limited edition of 20 tapes of our EP 'My favorite ghost'.

The split EP “My Favorite Ghost” is a first time collaboration between german artists Billion One and The Golden Vortex.
Both musicians originally drummers and knowing each other for quite a while, they took the deceleration of life during the omnipresent covid 19 quarantine as a rolemodel, decided to skip the beats this time to go some place new and spaceous.
